Rebecca Stump
Rebecca Stump began her tenure at the Dramatists Guild of America in April of 2010. As the Manager of Member Services, Ms. Stump provides day to day assistance for the Guild’s members as well as presenting workshops for the DG community and maintaining the Guild database. In addition to her daily tasks she also works with the Guild’s Opera Committee, Membership Committee, Publications Committee, manages the Internship Program and was the Editor of the annual DG Resource Directory until the Debut of the Resource Directory Online. For the past year, Ms. Stumphas been working on a special joint project with the Lilly Awards Foundation – a “Count” of gender parity in regional theatre. Ms. Stump holds a BA in Political Science and Theatre Arts from Marymount Manhattan College. She has presented at conferences across the United States on topics such as self-production for dramatists, gender parity in theatre and Guild. In addition to her time at the Guild, Ms. Stump serves as the Executive Director of NY Opera Exchange. Having spent two years working with the Development Department at the Metropolitan Opera, where she honed her fundraising and development skills, she has led NYOE through four successful seasons of well-reviewed, often sold-out operatic productions.
